William Penn University will hosting a large variety of individual youth sports camps this summer.

The football program will have two high school camps. The first will be an option passing camp on June 11, while the second is an offensive/defensive lineman camp on June 18. Both camps are for boys entering grades 9-12 and run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and cost $65. For more information, contact Head Coach Todd Hafner at 641-673-2160 or by email at hafnert@wmpenn.edu

Two separate women’s basketball camps will be held this summer. The first is for girls entering grades 2-7 from June 9-11 in Penn Gymnasium. The cost of the camp is $60 and the time of camp is 1-4 p.m. Another camp for girls entering grades 8-12 will be from 9 a.m.-noon on July 14-16. It also costs $60 and will be held in the gym. The men’s basketball team will host a camp for boys entering grades 4-8 from July 7-10 (9 a.m.-noon). The camp cost is $65 and will be held in Penn Gymnasium. For more information, contact Head Coach John Henry at 641-673-1108 or by email at henryj@wmpenn.edu

The Statesmen wrestling team will run two separate camps on the same days from July 14-16. An elementary camp, which costs $35, will run from 5-6 p.m., while a middle/high school camp, which costs $50, will go from 6-8 p.m. each night. Youth linksters (ages 7-15) in the community can attend a golf camp from July 21-22 at Harvest Point Golf Course. The cost of the camp is $25. For more information, contact Graduate Assistant Coach Steve Latos at 641-673-1340 or by email at latoss@wmpenn.edu

High school cheerleaders will also have an opportunity to hone their skills at WPU’s camp on August 7-8. The camp, which costs $35 for commuters and $50 for overnight campers, will run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. the first day and 8 a.m.-noon the second day in the PAC.
