‘Discover Your Summer’ with Summer Theatre Camp!

OSKALOOSA, IA — Looking for fun this summer? Look no further than the Summer Theatre Camp with the Daily Youth Theatre! This summer, create your own superhero, write scripts, explore castles and battle monsters, sing, dance, and most of all, act!

Camps last a week, beginning on June 9th with “Superheroes for Hire” where campers will write stories and scripts based around an original superhero they design. Camp usually runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. with a few exceptions, and weeks are available for pre-K (4-5 years old) all the way through high school. At the end of the week, campers will perform their creations in a showcase for parents and community members.

Summer is packed with eleven different camps over eight weeks, so campers will have a different experience each week – and discounts make it easier.

“We have multi-week, multi-student discounts to help out,” said Youth Director Andy McGuire. “We also offer financial aid for families that need it.”

A comprehensive schedule and registration information can be found at www.georgedaily.org/youth/summer-theatre-camp or may be picked up at the George Daily Auditorium office.

Questions? Contact Andy McGuire at (641) 672-3795 or youth@georgedaily.org.
