Letter To The Editor: State My Support

I am writing to state my support of Mark Doland for county supervisor. I feel Mark is a great example of an elected representative in that he makes a point of listening to and representing ALL his constituents, not just the ones who are wealthy and well-connected.

In my almost five years of living here in Mahaska County, I have not met one of the other county supervisors in person while I have been at numerous gatherings where Mark has been because he makes it a point to go out to the public to learn what is important to us and share what is going on in county government.

So if you want government that is truly “of the people, by the people, for the people” (and not just for big business and their special interests), vote for Mark Doland on June 3.
