Oskaloosa FFA Chapter Competes At State

The Oskaloosa FFA Chapter went to State FFA Convention to compete in 4 events in Ames on April 27-29. The Parliamentary Procedure team, Kelsie Tomlin, Kayla Wald, Alex Grubbs, Madison McQueen and Kylee Silliman competed early Monday morning, and they received a silver rating. Bobbi Fogle competed in Extemporaneous Speaking and came in 2nd place in the state.
The chapter also sent an Agriculture Sales team and a Farm Business Management team who both competed on Tuesday. The Agriculture Sales team, Brittany McQueen, Bobbi Fogle, Madison McQueen, and Kylee Silliman came in 5th with a gold rating. Brittany McQueen placed 9th and Bobbi Fogle placed 10th for best individual sales. The Farm Business Management team, Joe Ver Steegh, Dalton Kraber, and Josh Van Donselaar received a silver rating.
