Beverly Underwood, age 81, of Ollie, Iowa, passed away May 6, 2014, at her home in Ollie. She was born Monday, August 1, 1932, in Ollie, the daughter of Howard and Vera Jane Northup Weber.

Beverly graduated from the Ollie Consolidated High School with the class of 1950.

On December 23, 1953, Beverly was united in marriage to Richard Underwood at the Ollie Baptist Church. She was a devoted and hard working farm wife.

Beverly was a 50 year charter member of the Ollie Eastern Star and was happy to serve her community and church. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards with her friends and grandchildren, mushroom hunting, and never missed a good ball game. Beverly cherished her friends and family.

Beverly’s family includes a daughter: Rebecca (Allen) Wilcox of Carlisle, Iowa; two sons: Bruce (Joelle) Underwood of Woodruff, Wisconsin, and Brent Underwood of Cupertino, California; four grandchildren: Megan and Sarah Wilcox and Alec and Jared Underwood; two great grandchildren: Rylee and Kendrick Wilcox; a sister: Darlene (Phil) Morris; and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation: Open after 12:00 noon with the family present from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. May 09, 2014 at the Fremont Funeral Chapel
