1990: Warm late autumn weather resulted in daily record high temperatures across much of the state. Highs of 74 F at Des Moines and 73 F at Waterloo are the highest on record at both locations for this late in the season and a high of 70 F at Mason City marked their latest occurrence on record of a temperature in the 70s. The warm weather would continue for the following several days with more records broken on November 26th.
