Community Good Friday Service
St. Paul Congregational United Church of Christ, Oskaloosa Iowa
The Oskaloosa Area Association of Churches is sponsoring a Community Good Friday Service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18. The service will be held at St. Paul Congregational United Church of Christ, 501 High Ave. E. in Oskaloosa.
The Rev. Dr. Dennis Morey, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church will preach. The service will include a dramatic reading of Jesus’ Passion, during which the lights will be gradually dimmed. Music will be provided by the Presbyterian youth praise band, and by Erma Johnson and Judy Bishop of St. Paul Congregational UCC. The evening’s offering will benefit Crisis Intervention Services.
