For his efforts at nationals, he was chosen for the NAIA All-Championship team.
He was a one-time MCC Player of the Week.
Coertze placed high in two tournaments, including winning the 80-player Graceland Invitational with a 160 (77-83). She also tied for fourth at the Iowa Intercollegiate Championships with an 80.
