Oskaloosa–The Statesmen men’s basketball team enters the second half of its campaign set on getting back into the national scene as the third regular season Division II poll was released Tuesday.

The Statesmen (10-5), who begin Midwest Collegiate Conference action Saturday at home against #22 St. Ambrose, remain 29th with 48 points.

Embry-Riddle (Fla.) is still #1 with 372 points and 11 first-place votes. Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) is second with one first-place vote, while Indiana-Southeast is third with the final two first-place votes. Bethel (Ind.) and Dordt round out the top five.

Grand View, at #33, also represents the Midwest Collegiate Conference in the rating.
