THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL IOWA.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A STRONG SOUTH WIND AT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH LOCALLY HIGHER GUSTS WILL PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. VISIBILITIES MAY BE REDUCED TO BETWEEN ONE AND TWO MILES. ADDITIONALLY…AS THE SNOW BLOWS OVER UNTREATED AND LESSER TRAVELED ROADWAYS IT WILL PRODUCE SLICK AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A PERIOD OF EXTREMELY COLD TEMPERATURES IS FORECAST SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT WHERE WIDESPREAD 30 TO 50 BELOW WIND CHILL VALUES WILL BE POSSIBLE.
