Supervisors Certify City Elections

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Mahaska County Supervisors certified the most recent city election on Thursday afternoon. There are 10195 registered voters that were able to participate in the election process this year. Overall, 24.6% of those people voted countywide.

There are two towns who’s elections are not yet over. Barnes City and Beacon are both facing runoff elections to be held on December 3rd. The names to appear on the ballot are yet to be determined, as the potential write-in candidates are confirming if they would take the position if elected.

University Park has one tie, which is between Harry David Graham and Stephen Kelly, who both received 42 votes. That tie will soon be decided upon by drawing names from a hat.
