Oskaloosa, IA – On Tuesday morning, the Mahaska County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved several resolutions to complete a health plan change, and designated a web hosting firm.
Brad Reiman, from Bearance Management Group, spoke to the board and presented the details of the health plan change. The county needed to make a health plan change from a third party administrator (TPA) to a First Administrators, Inc. (FAI) agreement with Wellmark. Wellmark no longer does third party plans. The change will come into effect on Nov. 1 and will continue until July 2014.
