Osky Challenges Set To Shine At Southern Iowa Speedway
Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Osky Challenges are a welcome stop to many racing fans during the summer months, but this year’s edition looks to be especially star studded as both three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart and rising NASCAR star, and two time Ultimate Challenge winner, Kyle Larson will be on the track racing for the legions of fans.
Larson will be racing in the NASCAR Nationwide race at Iowa Speedway over the weekend, then will make his way to Oskaloosa for two nights of racing on August 5th and 6th.
Stewart will be fresh off the race at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. Stewart owns Tony Stewart Racing, which fields cars in the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, as well as the USAC National Sprint, Midget and Silver Crown Series. Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz are the teams other Sprint Car drivers, with Bryan Clauson and Bobby East filling out the USAC roster.
The Ultimate Challenge, nearing two decades at the Southern Iowa Speedway, will feature fast paced winged and non-winged sprints that draws some of the nation’s top dirt talent.
The Southern Iowa Speedway transforms into the nation’s top venue for those two nights.
