Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival will host tailgate and commission a trophy –
Barnstormers promise to bring home the bacon!
What: The Iowa Bacon Bowl will be held on Saturday, July 20th. The event kicks off at 3pm with an exclusive Iowa Bacon Bowl Tailgate Party where Barnstormer fans will receive a commemorative beer mug, free beverage coupon, live music and the opportunity to purchase bacon-inspired dishes from local restaurants.
Where: The Iowa Bacon Bowl tailgate will take place in the north parking lot outside of the Community Choice Convention Center at 3:00pm before the Barnstormers take on the Utah Blaze in Wells Fargo Arena.
When: The Bacon Bowl Tailgate takes place from 3:00pm – 7:00pm leading up to the 7:05pm Barnstormers game.
Why: Iowa is the leading pork producer, home to the world’s premier Bacon Fest, the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival, and also home to the Iowa Barnstormers. We invite you to come cheer on the Barnstormers as they defend the Iowa Bacon Bowl Trophy and the Iowan agricultural pioneers it represents.
Details: As Iowa Barnstormers’ season ticket holders, we will offer you the opportunity to purchase the special Iowa Bacon Bowl Tailgate tickets before they go on sale to the public Thursday June 6th, at 12:00pm. Tickets to the Bacon Bowl Tailgate are $5 for season ticket holders. This offer is only good for season ticket holders that already have game tickets for July 20th.
