Warmer weather brings teams to Lacey Recreation Complex

With a break in the weather teams are out in numbers at the Lacey Recreation Complex. Over the weekend college softball and Babe Ruth baseball played games, High School boys and girls track, USSSA baseball, High School boys and girls soccer and Babe Ruth held practices and two elementary classes held Easter Egg hunts at the stadium and on the Babe Ruth fields. “It definitely feels like the season has started!” stated Sherry Vavra of MCRF. Girls soccer will play against Ottumwa at the stadium Monday night April 1st.
