HAVE A “GRAIL” OL’ TIME AT MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT

Spamalot

Spamalot

OSKALOOSA, IA — Hear ye, hear ye – Monty Python’s Spamalot is almost here! Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot is a new musical and winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical. Catch this hilarious production at the George Daily Auditorium on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Telling the tale of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table, and featuring a bevy of beautiful show girls, not to mention cows, French people, and plenty of singing and dancing, Monty Python’s Spamalot “raises silliness to an art form” (The Sunday Times) and has been hailed as a “no-holds-barred smash hit.” (The New Yorker)

Tickets to this professional touring production are $35 for adults and $15 for students. Get a group together and take advantage of the group discount! Tickets are available from the George Daily Auditorium box office in person or by calling 641-672-0799 or online at www.georgedaily.org. Performance may contain PG-13 rated material.

Also new at the Daily, international artist Michael Brangoccio is displaying paintings in the gallery space. A Colorado native, Brangoccio has shown his artwork extensively across the country, with one-person exhibitions at galleries in Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago, and others. His work is featured in collections across the U.S., China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and Australia.

Monty Python’s Spamalot is sponsored by Musco Lighting. This engagement is supported by the Arts Midwest Touring Fund, a program of Arts Midwest, which is generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts with additional contributions from the Iowa Arts Council.
