FFA Officers Plan for Upcoming Year

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Five members of the Oskaloosa FFA chapter had participated in strategic planning for the 2012-2013 school year on August 1st and 2nd. The officers traveled to Waterloo to the Days Inn hotel for the officers retreat.

Part of the planning sessions were tweaking the chapters program of activities, setting goals for the 2012-2013 school year, and designing t-shirts. Other topics discussed were starting an FFA alumni chapter, the FFA school farm, the school milk machine, and purchasing the FFA chapter school camera.

After all the chapter business was finished officers enjoyed spending part of the day at the Lost Island Waterpark. Officers that attended were Brittany McQueen, President; Austin Dykstra, Treasurer; Kaila Wheeldon, Reporter; Bryan Herr, Sentinel; Sam Nunnikhoven, Chaplin; and Mike Striegel, Advisor.
