Oskaloosa, Iowa – School is only 3 weeks away from getting out for the summer here in Oskaloosa, and the summer movie schedule is kicking into gear.

Lots of things are planned in the area this weekend, Tulip Time in Pella, Nelson Pioneer Farm opens it’s doors on another year. Drag racing at Eddyville joins the Southern Iowa Speedway now with it’s season being under way.

Local theater owner Than Mott thinks it’s the perfect time to come join him and his staff for an action packed way to kick back and relax after spending all day making the rounds at any one of the other events in the area.

They will be serving up ‘The Avengers’, at a midnight showing at 12:01 am Friday.

Regular showtimes for May 4 to May 10 are: Nightly at 7 pm with Friday and Saturday offering the late show starting at 9:45 pm. Sunday matinee starts at 2 pm.

As always, the theater offers easy parking options and the ability to order tickets online so you can move quickly to the concessions where they feature locally grown Grubb’s Premium Popping Corn. Than said he believes they serve the best popcorn in the area. “People have told us that and it’s even better now that we use the stuff from Grubbs.”

You can visit them at their Facebook page anytime for update information, or call the theater at 641.673.4333
