Central qualifies three for NCAA indoor meet

PELLA—Three Central College athletes made the final cut for the NCAA Division III indoor track and field meet Friday and Saturday at Grinnell College.
Iowa Conference indoor track events MVP Kyle Wood (senior, Newton) is the 11th-ranked qualifier in the 400 meters (49.10). Eric Larson (freshman, Waverly, Waverly-Shell Rock HS) will make his NCAA debut in the heptathlon, ranking 12th (4,691).
On the women’s side, Caitlin Wilson (senior, Oakland, Riverside HS) returns in the pentathlon as the ninth-ranked qualifier (3,266).
