William Penn University Craft Fair
William Penn University is hosting a Craft Fair and Family Fun Fest as part of the 2011 Homecoming Weekend entertainment. Everyone is invited to the Craft Fair on Saturday, October 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Penn Activity Center (PAC) Atrium on the second floor. The WPU Craft Fair was developed in an effort to create family-friendly entertainment that appealed to kids and adults simultaneously in the same space.
The PAC was chosen as a good central location that provides ample space for a wide variety of activities. Children will be entertained with fun-loving activities including tattoos applied by the WPU Cheer Squad, balloon making, and three rooms designated as a Video Gamer Room, Carnival Game Room, and Movie/Popcorn Room. Pictures with the new Statesmen mascot, Willy P, will be available to everyone free of charge!
Parents and adults can enjoy a leisurely morning perusing the works of local craft masters. Craft vendors will have a wide range of pieces for sale including photography, homemade handbags, paintings, and more! There are currently 15 different vendors scheduled and more registering every day. Vendors interested in showcasing and selling their own art can still register for space by contacting Janna Eveland at 641-295-8249 or evelandjan@wmpenn.edu. There is no charge to reserve a table; registration ends October 21.
