Eddyville-Blakesburg Takes On Albia

Eddyville-Blakesburg Schools

Albia came out ready to play and we came out too over excited for the match. We made error after error and nothing was going our way. Albia took advantage of us sitting back on our heels and we sat wandering what was happening. After the 1st game I told the girls to start over and get back to EB volleyball. They knew that was not a game that reflected on their capabilities. The 2nd game started and we passed better along with serving was more aggressive to score points. The tables turned and stayed that way the rest of the match. We still will strive to gain the consistency needed to be more successful and also work on the defensive aspects of our game we are lacking. Our next match is at home again Thursday night against Washington.
