Central College

PELLA—Central College has jumped one spot in the Division III men’s cross country regional rankings.

The Dutch are No. 8 in the Central Region rankings produced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association after debuting at No. 9 a week ago.

Hamline (Minn.) sits atop the poll for the third straight week. Iowa Conference rival Loras is No. 4, Luther is No. 7, and Wartburg is No. 9.

The Central men are off to a fast start. The squad took second in the Central Dutch Invitational Sept. 3 and placed third in a 14-team field at the St. Olaf (Minn.) Invitational Sept. 17. The Dutch are slated to compete at the Grand View Invitational Friday.
