Oskaloosa, Iowa- As a reminder, School Board Elections will be held on this Tuesday September 13th. The polls for this election will open at Noon and will close at 8 PM. All voters in the Oskaloosa School District will have an opportunity to vote in this election.

Voters may vote at either the ISU/Ag Extension Office at 212 North I Street or at the Old Webster School at 508 South 7th Street. Voters may vote at either polling location. Geographic location in the district will not be a factor in where you vote this year.

Voters may also vote absentee in this election until 11 AM on Election Day. To vote absentee, voters can go to the Auditor’s Office in the Mahaksa County Courthouse at 106 South First Street in Oskaloosa.

Four seats are to be filled in this election with five candidates running. The candidates and what Director District they are running to represent are: Nik Rule- Director District 1, Laurie Palmer- Director District 3, Charlie Comfort- Director District 4, Don Patterson- Director District 4, Tom Richardson- Director District 6. Voters will vote in all four races on the ballot.
