Osky News to host School Board Candidates forum

Oskaloosa, Iowa- We here at Osky News would like to announce our School Board Candidates forum to be held on Tuesday, August 30th at 6:30 PM in Smokey Row.

Four of the Five Candidates for Oskaloosa School Board will be in attendance at this forum. Those candidates who will be in attendance are Nik Rule, Laurie Palmer, Charlie Comfort, and Tom Richardson. The rules for the forum will be as follows:

• Candidates will be allowed one minute for opening and closing statements
• Candidates will be provided with three questions beforehand. All other questions will be spontaneous from the moderators with the assistance of the public.
• Candidates will have one minute to answer each question.

The Moderators of this forum will be Oskaloosa Mayor Dave Krutzfeldt, and Beacon Mayor Shawn Maxwell and one other yet to be announced.
