Still time to register for MHP 5K Run in the Sun

OSKALOOSA – There is still time to register for Run in the Sun on Saturday, July 30.

The fundraiser to benefit the MHP Hospice Serenity House, is being held at the Lacey Sports Complex and will start at 8:15 a.m. The inaugural Run in the Sun consists of a 5K for runners and 1-mile Walk. Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

For the 5K Run, electronic chip timing is being utilized to assure accuracy. Medals will be awarded for the top three male and female 5K finishers in the following age categories: 14 and under, 15 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59 and 60 and over. All walk participants will receive a ribbon.
