Boswell Releases Statement following New Developments in Investigation

Des Moines, Ia. – Congressman Leonard Boswell released the following statement after law enforcement announced new developments in the incident at his family’s farmhouse outside of Lamoni, Iowa.

The local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies have worked around-the-clock on the investigation into the home invasion that occured at my family farmhouse over the weekend, and their hard work is paying off” said Congressman Boswell. “With today’s new developments, I know my family and my neighbors around the farm will rest easier with a suspect identified and another individual already under arrest. I have returned to do my job in Washington, and I am confident in the authorities handling the investigation back in Iowa. I cannot thank the law enforcement agencies enough for their work to bring this case to a close as soon as possible, and restore calm and a sense of safety to my family and the rural communities surrounding the farm.
