Mahaska County Accident Claims The Life Of A Lovilla Woman

Oskaloosa, Iowa – A single vehicle accident claimed the life of 37 year old Danielle Kelso the night of July 9th, 2011. She was driving her 1995 GMC Jimmy Eastbound on Utah St. where it curves North and turns into Adams Ave. Kelso apparently failed to negotiate the curve.

After exiting the curve, Kelso’s vehicle went onto the West side of Adams then back to the East ditch. When Kelso’s vehicle entered the East ditch, it overturned onto it’s top ejecting Kelso.

The vehicle came to rest on it’s top, with Kelso found on the West side, next to the vehicle. Kelso was pronounced dead at the scene.

The time of the accident is unknown, as Kelso was reported as a missing person on the night of July 9th. She was last seen leaving her resident at 6:30 p.m. and the accident scene wasn’t discovered until 10:50 a.m. on July 10th.
