Mahaska Y Announces Co-Ed Adult Kickball Tournament
Oskaloosa, Iowa – July 6, 2011 – The Mahaska County YMCA will be holding a kickball tournament on August 6, 2011, open to YMCA members and non-members. Adults 18 and over are invited to organize teams of up to 15 people, to compete in a double elimination tournament at the Industrial Field & Church League Field at Edmundson Park. Registration will be held July 6 – August 3, with a registration fee of $100 per team. As a prize, the winning team in the tournament will receive a full refund of their entry fee.
This kickball tournament will be the first ever held by the Mahaska County YMCA. YMCA staff anticipates a great turnout and encourages everyone to come out and experience why kickball is such a great game. Sports Director Ryan Harkema said, “This is a new event for the YMCA and we hope that the tournament is a success so that we can start making it a tradition.” Lace up your shoes, join the fun, and relive your playground glory.
