The Serenity House will be celebrating its one year anniversary in July. Families who have utilized the house in the past year are invited to a special ceremony at the beginning of the event.

The MHP Foundation was founded in 1994 as an independent board and financial resource for the improvement of healthcare at MHP. To date, the Foundation has led many fundraising efforts and purchased numerous educational tools for staff and special amenities for patients. Perhaps their most notable accomplishment is the very successful Capital Campaign to build the MHP Hospice Serenity House, which raised over $2.7 million. The Foundation received an outpouring of support from the local community to make the Serenity House possible.
To date, over 65 families have benefited from the Serenity House. Your participation in Run in the Sun will help more families experience this special service during their time of need. To register for the Run in the Sun, visit mahaskahealth.org or call 672-3369 by Monday, July 11. Registrations received after this date are not guaranteed a shirt.
