Gardening Along the Trail

The Oskaloosa Master Gardeners hosted a “Family Gardening” event for young gardeners and their parents or grandparents at the Lacey Garden along the Recreation trail in Oskaloosa Saturday June 11th. A children’s story of Jack and the Beanstalk inspired the theme for this Family Gardening session. The children’s story was read by a master gardener, along with other gardening activities for youth and parents or grandparents to “get their hands dirty!”
