Volunteerism Alive And Well In University Park

University Park is a sleepy place just on the East side of Oskaloosa. Saturday morning brought the sound of rakes, shovels and laughter as volunteers worked on building a new playground and cleaning up the existing one, along with brush clean up in the cemetery.

George Toubekis, University Park Mayor, helped to spearhead the days events, and with some hard working 4H kids made a difference in the community.
