U14 youth soccer league vs HS soccer girls‏

The Mahaska County Youth Soccer league has begun wrapping up their season. The U14 girls team for the youth league competed against the High School girls team in a scrimmage on Wednesday May 18th. The final score gave the High School Girls the victory 2-0 in a close game of great effort from both teams. Parents and spectators enjoyed a competitive game with many “almost” goals! The youth league soccer will participate in end-of the season tournaments on June 4th , then travel to Des Moines for the Kohl’s cup on June 11th to complete their season. Recreation soccer finished up with an end-of-the season picnic at the mall last Friday.
