Flying Pans to Perform during Tulip Time

The Central College Flying Pans Steel Band will be performing at the Pella Opera House during Tulip Time. They perform Caribbean music with a touch of calypso, soca, cha cha, reggae, disco, and rock-n-roll.

The steel drums band has toured extensively throughout the Midwest, performing music and education programs for a variety of audiences since 2000.

The band is directed by Stanley E. Dahl, Assistant Professor of Music at Central College. There are twenty-one students involved.
