Over the past month, several key events have occurred in the 2012 race for the White House. Of the 14 candidates that were in our poll, five of them announced over the past month that they have formed Presidential Exploratory Committees. Newt Gingrich, Tim Pawlenty, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum all announced the formation of a Presidential Exploratory Committee. In addition, former Louisiana Governor, Buddy Roemer, announced the formation of an exploratory committee. Herman Cain announced in January that he had formed a committee.

In addition to these prospective candidates, another prospective candidate emerged. Former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice announced in late March that he was considering forming an exploratory committee. Moore is expected to make “an important announcement” on WHO 1040 AM radio tomorrow morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

The first poll turned up some interesting results. The majority of the current Presidential Candidates that we ran in the poll ended up in the bottom half of the poll. Only two candidates (Ron Paul and Mitt Romney) finished in the top five. You can read more about this poll by clicking HERE. […]
