Central moves up again in softball rankings

PELLA—It’s been a productive preseason in the rankings for the Central College softball team.
The Dutch moved up again in the NFCA Division III poll without playing, climbing to No. 8 after jumping to No. 9 last week. Linfield (Ore.) (4-0) remains a unanimous choice at No. 1 while Iowa Conference rival Luther is tied for No. 5 and Coe moves into the rankings at No. 24.
Central opens the season at the Tucson Invitational Games in Tucson, Ariz. March 11-19.
