Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) Plus certification training will be offered on March 1, 2011 from 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm. in the Mahaska County Extension office for any adult (18 years and older) wishing to be certified.  Pre- registration is advised, a fee of $25.00 per participant will be assessed for the certification training.

The PQA Plus certification status is three years. As of June 10, 2007 producers can no longer receive PQA Level III certification; therefore, producers must be certified in the new PQA Plus program once the PQA Level III status expires.
