Several Taken Into Custody Following Armed Robbery at Oskaloosa Kwik Star

**Armed Robbery Investigation**
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at approximately 10:58 a.m., the Oskaloosa Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery at Kwik Star, located at 1510 A Avenue West in Oskaloosa.
The investigation determined that three individuals entered the business with their faces concealed. At least one of the individuals displayed what appeared to be a firearm. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
A coordinated investigation involving the Oskaloosa Police Department, Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), and other assisting law enforcement personnel has resulted in several individuals being taken into custody. One individual believed to be connected to the incident remains at large, and law enforcement continues efforts to locate that person.
This remains an extremely active and rapidly developing investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies. Investigators have continued working throughout the day to identify, locate, and apprehend those believed to be involved. Because investigative efforts are ongoing, the information being released at this time is intentionally limited to protect the integrity of the investigation.
