Bohney Picked for Second POW Laurel

Oskaloosa–Kenny Bohney (Sr., Moorhead, Minn., Exercise Science) excelled in scoring and distributing last week, and for his efforts he was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Monday, presented by Tarkett Sports.

Bohney, who is now a two-time weekly honoree (both this year), helped the Statesmen to a pair of wins.

The senior opened with four goals and four assists against Clarke last Wednesday. He then tacked on three goals and seven assists versus Midland in last Saturday’s matchup. Additionally, Bohney, who recorded 20 total shots (15 on goal), posted one ground ball and one caused turnover.

For the year, Bohney has tallied 26 goals and 27 assists, while notching 15 ground balls and three caused turnovers.

The award is the fourth of the year for WPU.
