Ethan Zieglowsky (Sr., Washington, Iowa, Biology) (148) and Brock Alderson (So., Sigourney, Iowa, Biology) (130) also started once at the Classic.

“We went into the weekend with a couple of major team-building goals in mind: to communicate better and improve chemistry,” Assistant Coach Scott Alderson said. “I am very proud of everyone’s efforts in both areas; it was a huge step in the right direction. Overall, both days had several bright spots to build from going forward. We will continue to work on managing the difficult pairs, and scores should follow the improvement of team communication and chemistry. I am looking forward to a great week of practice and moving onto our competition to showcase our improvements.”

Next Up: William Penn travels to Kansas City, Mo. Saturday and Sunday to compete in the Avila Open #1 and #2.
