Loring, Harry Named AFCA NAIA All-Americans

Oskaloosa–Destynd Loring (Sr., Charleston, S.C., Sports Management) and Marquis Harry (So., Pompano Beach, Fla., Business Management) used incredible seasons to garner postseason recognition as the AFCA NAIA Coaches’ All-America Teams were announced Thursday.

Loring was named to the First Team, while Harry was chosen for the Third Team. The All-America laurels are the first for both individuals.

They become the 46th and 47th All-Americans in program history and the first since 2023.

The duo helped William Penn to its most-successful season in school history as the Statesmen finished 11-2 and reached the Second Round of the NAIA Football Championship Series.

Loring carried the pigskin 322 times for school records in yards (1,949) and touchdowns (30). He averaged 149.9 yards per outing.

His year featured 10 100-yard performances, led by 203 yards against Baker on September 13. He tallied a rushing touchdown in 11 contests with a high of five versus Culver-Stockton on September 27.

Not only did Loring destroy single-season rushing records, but he also set new standards for career yards (4,114) and touchdowns (52).

Additionally, he caught 26 passes this fall for 257 yards and two scores to finish with 2,206 all-purpose yards.

Harry had a proverbial nose for the ball (and the endzone) in 2025, recording five interceptions along with 50 tackles (35 solos, 15 assists, 8.5 for loss). The sophomore, who finished with nine pass breakups, also forced one fumble and recovered one.

Harry returned his interceptions a total of 295 yards, including four that went the distance. He managed three consecutive games with a ‘Pick Six’. The cornerback tallied a season-high two interceptions against MidAmerica Nazarene on September 20, and notched a campaign-best eight tackles versus Clarke on October 25.
