Stoop Collects Academic All-District Laurel from CSC

Oskaloosa–Statesmen men’s soccer player Rob Stoop (So., Bosch en Duin, Netherlands, Exercise Science) has been honored for a strong 2025 season in and out of the classroom as he earned academic all-district honors from College Sports Communicators.

Stoop, who owns a 3.89 Grade Point Average, has helped William Penn to a current record of 11-5-4 and a trip to the Round of 16 in the NAIA National Championship.

The sophomore defender has posted two goals with four assists, while leading the navy and gold to allow just 1.15 goals per outing. WPU has managed seven shutouts this fall.

The award combines both athletic and academic achievements. To be eligible for the award, individuals must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been enrolled at the nominating institution for one year (transfers use grades from their previous institution), and have a 3.50 Grade Point Average. Additionally, individuals must compete in 90% of games or start in at least 66% of games.
