Oskaloosa Girls Golf Places Third at Washington Invite
The Oskaloosa girls varsity golf team competed Tuesday at the Washington Invitational, finishing third out of six teams with a team score of 427. While not their lowest score of the season, the Indians showed resilience and determination throughout the round.
The event, held at the Washington Golf and Country Club, presented challenges for the entire lineup. Several players encountered tough stretches with high individual hole scores but rebounded with stronger play across other parts of their rounds. The team’s performance highlighted a need for improved course management, particularly in navigating difficult situations when ball striking is not at its best.
