First Step Oskaloosa: A Partnership for a Cleaner, Greener City

First Step Oskaloosa is a group of five University of Iowa graduate students in the School of Urban and Regional Planning and the College of Public Health. We have been asked by Oskaloosa City manager Michael Schrock to look at solid waste disposal. Specifically, we are analyzing residential curbside recycling and garbage pickup practices, commercial recycling habits and the needs for additional solid waste services. We hope to complete our research and report our findings by late spring of 2011. The survey is available January 27^th through January 31^st.
