WPU to Host Golf Scramble Fundraiser in July

Oskaloosa–The William Penn Athletics Department will be hosting its 2nd Annual Golf Scramble Fundraiser later this summer.

The event will be held on Friday, July 28 at Edmundson Golf Course with a shotgun start time of 10 a.m. Participants can designate which Statesmen sports program they want their entry proceeds to benefit.

Teams will consist of four players in a scramble format. Individuals can sign up for $100 or a team can be purchased for $400.

Hole sponsorships can also be purchased for the event; small signs will be sold for $150, while large signs will be $350.

Additionally, numerous hole prizes and door prizes will be available. A special edition of the Coaches Show will also be held at Wood Iron Grille Restaurant Thursday night at 7 p.m.
