Grewe in Top Two in State

NEW SHARON – North Mahaska sophomore is one of the top hitters in the state after the first 10 days of the season. As of Monday afternoon, Grewe was tied for second in homeruns statewide and number one in Class 1A.

Grewe has four round trippers through four games. She had hit at least one in each game until Friday at Lynnville-Sully. Kylee Hill, an eighth grader from Burlington, leads the state with six. Grewe is tied with junior Tatum Dunlavy of Estherville Central. Hill leads Class 5A while Dunlavy leads Class 3A.
