Knoxville Wins Boys Osky Relays

by Mike Sterner

The 95th Osky Relays had lots of excitement tonight. Senior Tatum Westercamp led the Indians with 3 golds and 1 runner-up relay on the night, as well as crushing a school record. We were so excited to be running any track meet and it was great to be home in Oskaloosa! This team is so fun to coach and cheer for. They set challenging goals, are competitive, and cheer for one another like crazy! Tonight we saw 1 school record fall in the Shuttle Hurdle Relay team of Dom Piersel, JT Baker, Waylon Bolibaugh, and Tatum Westercamp. We also saw 4 new season-best relay times and 22 new PR bests individually. The Indians finished as runner-up at the Relays and are now reloading for next week’s busy schedule.
