Rissi Wins Bowler of the Week Laurel
Oskaloosa–Connor Rissi (So., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Undecided) posted a high finish last weekend and it netted him Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Bowler of the Week honors Monday.
Rissi won his first career laurel after a strong effort at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge last Saturday and Sunday.
The junior placed 15th out of 208 competitors with a 194.8 average over five games (974 total pins). He posted a high game of 246 with a solid low of 170 and helped the Statesmen finish ninth out of 18 squads.
The award is the first of the year for WPU.
