7th Grade Girls Battle Pella Christian

Oskaloosa Vs. Pella Christian

The 7th Grade girls basketball team played 2 games versus Pella Christian on Tuesday night in their 12th game and last game of the season. The Osky girls battled hard in the first half overcoming a 7 – 0 deficit to get into halftime with a score of 14 – 14. However, in the 2nd half the Indians were unable to get going offensively and lost the game 18 – 22. The girls played really hard and played together. This was our last game of the season and we are very proud of them! We finished 8 – 4 on the season and look forward to watching these girls develop in the future.

In the B game, the Osky girls battled a tough Pella Christian team. We got off to a slow start in the B game, but played much better in the 2nd half. The Pella Christian girls were very aggressive and it took us a couple of quarters to match their aggression. We ended up losing the game 12 – 28, but we are so proud of the improvement of these girls! We are excited for their future basketball careers!
