#4 ranked in Class 5A Indianola scored 3 runs on 4 hits in the first inning and that is all the Indians would need as they rolled to an 8-0 win over the Oskaloosa Indians. Indianola would pick up 3 more runs in the 3rd inning, and 2 more in the 5th inning to close out the scoring and cool off the Osky Indians who had won 5 out of their last 6 games.

Oskaloosa could only manage 2 hits off Kate Kralik as Kralik did not walk any batters, while striking out 13 Osky batters. The only 2 hits for the Indians were by Faith DeRonde and Presley Bloomers.

The loss drops the Indians record to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Next up for the Oskaloosa Indians is a JV1/V/V tripleheader at Pella Christian Friday beginning at 4:00.
