Four Ranked in Second National Poll

Oskaloosa–Four members of the William Penn women’s wrestling team are ranked as the NAIA released its second poll Thursday.

As a team, WPU is 23rd with 25 points, while Life (Ga.) is first in the country with 200 points. Campbellsville (Ky.) (168), Wayland Baptist (Texas) (165), Grand View (135), and Southern Oregon (132) round out the top five.

Joylynn Wegman (Fr., Keller, Texas, Psychology and Sociology) headlines the Statesmen quartet, sitting in 10th place at 143 pounds.

Mami Selemani (Fr., Iowa City, Iowa) is next in 13th at 123 pounds, while Chalimar Rodriguez (Fr., Keller, Texas) is 17th at 101 pounds.

191-pounder Samantha Ruano (Fr., Romeoville, Ill., Business Management) completes the grouping in 19th place.
